The songs you can find in my most recent album have a philosophy lofi rock sound to them, but the theme is that of a spellcaster and musician. In this post, I’ll take a minute to tap into what each of the songs means to me! I see a lot to them but I’m willing to discribe what their essence entails as they are full of metaphoric ideas, each posing a unique spell, each finding its home in this album of rhythmic and grungey origins.

It goes: I. The Shadow Lotus,

A compact Spell of Existentialism on a journey that you know will last your entire life;

Spell; II. Broken Spells & New Calluses,

The Nostalgia Spell made by seeing a beautiful height & reflecting on the past, only to encounter vertigo because you knew it was not love she felt;

III. We Share Shame to Memory (So, Too, Desire),

A spell that entails Wisdom & Enlightenment but the kind that is spurred in the reality landscape so internal to your mind that you have to just live with the present, never to image the future the same way;

IV: Medication,

A Spell of Postmodern Self-Fulfilling Prophecy due to what we depend on to keep us alive, with an effect of Vivdry & Imagination in the way of what that means to your heart when your mind can’t keep up;

V: They Don’t Understand (My Pain),

A Spell of Paranoia with an effect of Counter-Culture pulled to focus, which was made of finding yourself numb to someone else’s weaknesses;

VI. God’s Eyes, a spellbound Dogma where you feel the Solidarity of a darkness, with the effects of unknown delusions created through the path of hyperbolic realities of a Postmodern guru’s superpowers, telling a tale of profound omnipresence or metaphoric attachment to the idea of power;

VII: Second Chances,

A mello and clean electric guitar spell of what it means to forgive others & yourself for what you’ve lacked, like a bird who secretly likes their own cage a bit too much, to give your psyche realization of the reality your life was not meant for perfection and that’s what you were destined for.
